Edward Larsen holds a BA from the City University of New York, a JD from New York Law, an MBA in Accountancy from Monmouth University, and an LLM in Taxation and Certificate in Estate Planning from Villanova Law School. Ed is admitted to practice in the Federal and State Courts of Florida, New York, and New Jersey, the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of International Trade, and U.S. Tax Court. Besides maintaining a private practice in Naples, he is also the part-time General Magistrate and the Civil Traffic Hearing Officer for Glades County. Ed has previously served in the following capacities: United States Navy (1974-1978), Federal Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (1987-1989), Collier County Code Enforcement Board (2008-2010) Collier County Republican Club Treasurer (2009-2010), Naples Toastmasters President (2008-2009), and Naples Elks President (2009-2010), and Naples American Legion Post's Judge Advocate; and is currently a member of the Collier County Bar Association, Secretary for the Biggs Inns of Court, Collier County Foreclosure Task Force, Collier Lawyers Care, and on the Florida Bar Evidence Committee. Ed is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell, was the Legal Aid "Pro Bono Attorney of Month" in Sept. 2009, received the Collier County Women's Bar Association's "Certificate of Recognition" in 2009, the Silver Acorn Award from the Boy Scouts of America in 2012, and received the Legal Aid "Leadership Award" in 2013. Ed is married, has four children, and resides in Naples, Florida.
