Coronavirus in Collier and Monroe Counties

United Way of Collier and the Keys and our partners are committed to ensuring that our region’s most vulnerable families have the support they need to weather the short- and long-term impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic.

We are carefully monitoring the evolving needs created by COVID-19 and the disruptions it has caused in the lives and livelihoods of our neighbors. We are also keeping a close watch on the services and resources being mobilized by government and private agencies to address those needs. As unmet needs arise, we will work with our partner donors, businesses, and agencies to meet them.

With your support, United Way and our partners will be best able to assist vulnerable populations, especially our local ALICE families. Donations to the United Way Coronavirus Fund will be used for a multitude of efforts to help with recovery. Click here to learn about coronavirus and our ALICE community.

Through this partnership, we have helped Collier County Government qualify 1,100+ clients with their Individual Assistance through CARES act funding, totaling over $7.2M in assistance.

Today, Collier and Monroe Counties, along with our entire world, are facing a scary situation. No one knows quite how it will turn out. What is certain, is that the United Way of Collier and the Keys will be there for our community. Whatever is needed, however long it is needed, we are the helpers people can rely on.

We will be continuing to update this page as things progress and new assistance programming is developed and funded.
